Youth's Club Brahmapur appeals

The Youth's Club Brahmapur (YCB) has appealed to all the local clubs, meira paibis, civil societies, voluntary organizations, etc to help the people of the State strictly observe the Covid guidelines issued by the Government and to look after those affected families and animals (livestock) confined within the containment zones.
A press release issued by Sapam Italy Singh, general secretary YCB said that the club in association with the Government have been strictly enforcing the standard operating procedures of COVID -19 in areas of its jurisdiction since the beginning of the Covid pandemic.
Saying that the club volunteers, members, sympathisers, etc, extended help to ensure families affected by the pandemic particularly those within containment zones get access to edible items, medicines and water, he added that the club appointed volunteers in charge of 50 households each to enforce SOPs and also to update the locals on Covid awareness from time to time.
The CMO of Imphal East also assisted in conducting Covid tests every month .
Continuing that the club also started feeding livestock in containment areas too, he added that cows confined within the containment zones were fed a variety of foods approved by the Veterinary Department.
Food prepared from wheat, lintels and dried hay,etc, were distributed to livestock farmers too, he added.
