MPS student selected for YIMKA 2022

Imphal, April 27 2022:
Abhay Yadav, a class IX student of Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Mantripukhri has been selected for Young Scientist Programme (YUVIKA) 2022 of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to be held from May 16 to 28 in Bengaluru.
An ARPS release informed that Abhay Yadav, hailing from Bihar, will be part of a team of 150 junior scientists selected from across the country.
Under the YUVIKA (Young Scientist's Programme 2022), the students will be imparted basic knowledge about space and science, technology and applications to make them aware of emerging trends in science and technology.
They would visit laboratories, attend talks by eminent scientists and witness experimental demonstrations at various ISRO centre, including Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, ARPS principal Dr Alka Jain said it was a proud moment for the institution and wished Abhay success in future endeavours.
She also said the programme will definitely motivate students to make career in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics field.
