Assam Rifles units conduct motivational lectures

Shangshak Battalion and Keithelmanbi Battalion of Assam Rifles of IGAR (S) organised motivational lectures to join Indian Army and Assam Rifles at Gamnum village in Kamjong district and Lilong Haoreibi College, Lilong in Thoubal district.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the Assam Rifles took up the initiative to educate and create awareness among local youth to join Indian Army and Assam Rifles at Gamnum village.
The lecture was focused to assist, guide and motivate youth to make appropriate choice as per their interest and potential.
A total of 15 youths participated in the event.
The lecture at Lilong Haoreibi College was organised to inform the youth not just about various opportunities available for joining Armed Forces but also to guide them about other employment avenues in private and public sector as well.
The youth were briefed about the role of security forces and their role in nation-building.
A total of 80 college students and professors attended the lecture.
Meanwhile, Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a lecture about the National Flag Code at Laverta Heritage Academy, Chakpikarong in Chandel district on Friday.
The lecture was organised to educate and create awareness among the school students and teachers about National Flag.
A total of 26 children and 8 teachers participated in the event.
Assam Rifles hoped that these small initiatives will inculcate the spirit of patriotism in the children.
