Drawing, selfie competition held

Tengnoupal Battalion of IGAR (South) on Saturday organised a drawing competition for children of Primary School, Khudengthabi in Tengnoupal district as part of the celebrations to commemorate 75 years of India's independence.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that 40 enthusiastic budding painters joyfully participated in the event during which a motivational lecture on national unity was also imparted to the instill sense of belongingness to the nation.
The programme culminated with distribution of prizes and stationery items.
Meanwhile, Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted 'inter class selfie competition' for students of Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Mantripukhri under the theme "Har Ghar Tiranga" at ARPS, Mantripukhri on Friday.
The event was organised to encourage the students of ARPS to become part of "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign.
It will instill a sense of pride for the national flag in the hearts and minds of the children.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 200 students from Class 1 to 12 .
