Nishikant speaks out against pre-poll violence

Reacting against the numerous pre-poll violence and unwanted incidents recently at various Constituencies, Nishikant Singh Sapam has said it is very unfortunate that such incidents have marred the election campaigns.
Nishikant Singh Sapam, who is preparing to contest the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election in Keishamthong AC said this while inaugurating an office of Team Nishikant at Keishampat Keisham Leikai today and added that he has no hatred or ill feelings against other candidates and their supporters neither does he have any distinction between his supporters and non-supporters.
They are all people of the same place, he added.
He maintained that when elected, he will work for the welfare of the entire Constituency and serve everyone equally.

Speaking at a public meeting afterwards at Ima Yumjao Lairembi Lampak in Keishampat Keisham Leikai, Nishikant Singh Sapam said his reason for joining electoral politics is to bring a 'change' in the State and to achieve the same, he said and added that he will work selflessly for the people.
Reiterating his resolution to stand against 'corruption', he said he will not try to recover the election expenses and will not be involved or interfere in contractual work.
Nishikant Singh Sapam also said if he does not keep his words, he will willingly accept any 'punishment' given by the public.
The public has pointed out that the election in Keishamthong AC will be a very difficult one, but it will not be much difficult if the trust of the public can be won with conviction, he added.
He also assured that he will deliver all his pre-poll promises and will ensure that the developmental works are more than satisfactory.
The public meeting was also attended by senior citizens Keisham Thambal-ngou, Keisham Surendro, Advocate Keisham Pradip and Chongtham Iboyaima, president of Team Nishikant ward number 9 as presidium members.
