NPF's Paulhring vows peace, tranquillity

NPF candidate from 41-Chandel assembly constituency for the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election Langhu Paulhring Anal has vowed to work for bringing peace and tranquillity in the state if elected in the upcoming election.
Addressing a public meeting organised by NPF Chandel division at Beru Unopat village under Western Valley area on Thursday, Paulhring Anal promised to work for bringing development of the people and put special emphasis on saving youth from drugs and addictive substances.
He also said that post treatment rehabilitation centre will be established to give proper treatment to drug addicts.
He then assured of filling up lacunae in education sector in respect of Western valley area of Chandel district and construct a circular road if elected.
Seven Brothers member ex-MP BD Behring, who also attended the public meet, said that selection of good representative lies at the hands of the people and hence people should give vote to qualified candidate who could bring development.
The present government promised to give jobs to 10,000 youths during its initial period but job recruitment for 17 departments remains pending till date, he said and alleged that money collected in the name of providing jobs is now being utilised in election campaign.
The public meet which commenced after unfurling of NPF flag was also attended by other Seven Brothers members namely ex-MLA St Victor Nunghlung, Ts Beton Seven Brothers convener Wango Kohring Victor, NPF Chandel Division president Langhu Starson, NPF 41-Chandel Area Unit president Sk Setoi Lamkang, ADC Chandel ex-members Sh Manglem Monsang, KT Hari, DY Holngam and Ts Willingson, Western Valley Area Chief's Association chairman Kt Ruwnglen, village chiefs, religious leaders and CSO representatives.
