Imphal, February 10 2022:
Governor La Ganesan has paid tributes on the 54th Martyr's Day of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
In his message, the Governor said that Pandit Deendayal never worked to gain popularity or to be elected as an MP or MLA but worked entirely for the welfare of the Nation.
"Born on September 15, 1916 in Uttar Pradesh, Deendayal Upadhyaya believed in a self-reliant economy with the village as the base welcoming modern technology adapting to suit Indian requirement," La Ganesan said and added that Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya was one of the most distinguished Nationalist political thinkers of modern India.
