Imphal, February 10 2022:
Works Minister Thongam Biswajit has said that there is no case of the BJP concealing criminal antecedents of its candidates and added that the party follows the guidelines of election code of conduct attentively.
Speaking to media persons at his official residence at Sanjenthong today, the Minister said that INC candidate Seram Neken accusing him of not mentioning criminal cases pending against him in the nomination papers is cheap politics and continued that the Congress is an unorganised political party.
"It's true that I'm facing certain complaint cases at different Courts," he said and clarified that no FIR, however, was registered against him at any police station.
He further said that Neken cannot woo the voters of Thongju by raising unfounded allegations.
On MGNREGS fund, Th Biswajit said that all the details are available at the portal of MIS and added that the remaining might be released soon.
