Career counselling prog held at Senapati

In collaboration with Poumai Naga Students Union (PNTM), the North East Education Counselling (NEEC) organised day-long free career counselling and guidance programme on Thursday at the multipurpose hall near DC office, Senapati.
As a part of the pro gramme, NEEC representatives shared their expertise on diverse issues along with extending gifts, application fee waiver, on spot evaluation and admission, educational loan assistance, exclusive scholarships, networking with 50-plus universities/institute/colleges, etc.
Representatives of many institutions and universities from across the country such as NiTTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore; Jettwings Group of Institute, Guwahati; Rayat-Bahra University, Chandigarh; Quantum University, Roorkie; OM Sterling Global University; AMC Institutions, Bangalore; Sandip University, Nashik; and Parul University, Vadodara also took part in the fair.
According to Impbal Coordinator Phila Zimik, NEEC is one of the leading event management and ed ucational promotion organisations in North East India, which is dedicated to serve the students community by providing them with easy access to education and career options and prospects almost at their doorstep.
"Contemporary youths are far more focused and selective in seeking right education that leads to a successful and satisfying career, and such education fair is considered to be the right platform for information and knowledge, and also an interface between educational institutions and students/parents," she said.
It is informed that in the last 15 years, the event has achieved a resounding success and has attracted enough visitors of right profiles.
The event has become a trusted brand not only among the participant colleges and institutions but also within the Student/parent community who wait for such annual exhibition.
The NEEC coordinator also informed that similar events will be held on September 18 in Churachandpur and September 21 in Ukhrul for which she urged students to participate.
According to PNTM president Asahrii Clement, the event was aimed at providing assistance to aspiring young learners at their doorstep as the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation has compelled everyone to remain indoors.
