Senapati, November 20 2012:
Joining the endorsement of the Senapati District Demand Committee (SDSC) executive members and its unit bodies against the decision of Senapati ADC members to transfer District Council CEO S.Lorho Kholia, the Mao Student's Union (MSU) has categorically expressed its resentment over the issue.
The MSU stated that, based on the sincere and dedicated service rendered to the students' community by the present CEO, the transferring attempt of the Senapati ADC members is unjustifiable and irresponsible.
"Rather than extending maximum co-operation and support to the CEO, the immature interference of the political institution is very unfortunate", added the Mao Students Union said.
"Going by records, the spotless CEO should be rather lauded and appreciated for all the administrative reforms implemented and undertaking daring educational tours to remote areas of the District which no former CEOs in the past has done.
The MSU therefore, called upon Senapati ADC members to immediately revoke their political decision of transferring the present CEO," the Mao students' body added.
On Monday, following threadbare deliberation over the Senapati District Council imbroglio demanding the transfer of CEO by Senapati ADC members, the SDSA 4th Presidential Council meeting, had endorsed the previous Executive Council decisions and re-affirmed the stand of the SDSA to non-transferring of the present CEO.
The five powerful students' bodies consisting of Mao, Maram, Thangal, Poumai and Zeliangrong stated that, the SDSA while acknowledging the genuine efforts of the present CEO S.Kholia Larho in carrying forward the progressive educational system in the district, the meeting has urged the inevitability of the CEO in enabling to continue the noble job.
"Any premature and unethical reaction of the ADC members against a responsible and dynamic officer will not be accepted as it is directly against the wishes and interest of the general public," the SDSA added.
The SDSA is ever determined to invest all possible efforts to promote its movement of better educational system in the district.
As the investigation process is smoothly on with the co-operation of all concern, the meeting had called upon all concerns to allow the SDSA to fully complete the investigation for better public consumption.
Further, taking action agains without concrete prove will misconstrue the public faith on the people's institution, the SDSA stated.
