State BJP submits report on its 'statue of unity'

BJP, Manipur Pradesh has submitted a brief report of its Iron collection co-operation committee in connection with installation of 'a statue of unity Manipur' to OP Dhankarji, National co-ordinator, ICCC, "statue of unity" at New Delhi today afternoon.
State co-ordinator meeting of the ICCC was held at 11 Asoka Road, New Delhi today with Ram Lal,N ational General Secy (o), BJP; JP Nadda, National Gen Secy, BJP and OP Dhankar, National co-ordinator on the dais.
In the meeting, BJP, Manipur unit was represented by Kh.
Nabakumar Singh, state co-ordinator, ICCC, "statue of unity Manipur" along with L.Bashanta Sharma, secy(media affairs) BJP, Manipur Pradesh.
In his report Nabakumar pointed out that a historical "Run for unity" was organised in Manipur with 3000 runners recently.
White colour T shirts were distributed to the runners and the event was widely covered in the media.
So far, 60 resource kits have been received in state office and distributed to all the district co-ordinators for onward distribution to the mandals, gram panchayats, etc.
He further said that completion of iron collection from district, mandal and panchayet will be completed by 28 February, 2014 and pursue OP Dhankarji to set a convenience date to organise a sent off ceremony of the collected irons from office of the BJP, Manipur Pradesh.
