Bodies urge to lift bandh

Imphal, February 23 2014 :
Six major organisations of the State have urged the Kuki Student's Organisation and Kuki Women's Union, Tamenglong to lift the ongoing 72-hour bandh being clamped on NH-37 considering the impact given by the agitation to Class X and XII examinations.
A decision to appeal to bandh supporters in this regard was taken in a joint meeting of these bodies held at Kuki Community Hall, Langol today.
AMUCO President Dr Y Mani Khuman, NIPCO President Sunil Karam, AMSU Advisor Kh Ratan, KIM President Thangkhosei Haokip, IMOM President L Khupler Kom and UCM President Y Nabachandra attended the meeting.
