Imphal, February 23 2014 :
In the aftermath of the murder of two Punjabi traders at the Indo-Myanmar border few days back, the Indians still feel insecure and stay off Tumu town even though normal border trade at Namphalong resumed from yesterday.
According to reports from Moreh Police, the Indians have started going to Namphalong Market in Myanmar, but no one has entered Tumu town after the gruesome incident.
There is no restriction on Indians entering Tumu town with necessary immigration pass, but the sense of insecurity prevents them from going beyond Namphalong Market.
It may be recalled that two Indian Punjabi traders namely Sanvender Singh and Dhaljit Singh were found brutally murdered at Jangnomphai Village in Chandel district after they went missing from Tumu town.
