One new case takes caseload to 11

Imphal, November 22 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-29 in the state rose to 11 on Tuesday, as government bulletins reported no recovery and one new case from out of 115 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 0.9 per cent.
The lone fresh case is a female resident of Ukhrul district.
Out of the 11 active cases, four are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,912 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 413 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,261, out of which 13,35,944 had received the second dose and 2,77,877 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49844), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3372), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl 477) .
