14th Manipur Polo International begins : United Kingdom trounce Indian Navy 16-0

The United Kingdom (UK) posted a huge 16-0 win over Indian Navy 16-0 as the 14th Manipur Polo International Tournament got underway here at the Mapal Kangjeibung today.
The tournament is being organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association in line with the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival.
UK's Harry Tucker and Phil Seller took centre-stage as they contributed six and five goals respectively in their team's crushing win over Indian Navy riders.
Phil Seller opened the account for the UK before the match was a minute old before adding another few seconds later.
Jack Tucker extended UK's lead to 3-0 adding one in the fourth minute before his team mate Harry Tucker added two more goals in the 5th minute and the last minute to end the 1st chukkar 5-0.The UK team carried forward their momentum in the second chukker and added five more goals, two each from George Amor and Phil Seller after Harry Tucker struck the opener in the first minute.
The Indian Navy got some respite in the following chukker as they conceded only two goals with George Amor and Jack Tucker finding the scoreline in the fourth and the fifth minutes.
The final chukkar saw the UK team rise once again to pump in four more goals and seal the game 16-0.Harty Tucker, who had scored three goals in the first two chukkers scored three more goals in this chukker as Phil Seller completed his fifth.
Indian Navy will face India-A (Indian Polo Association) in the next match tomorrow from 1.30 pm before India-B (Manipur) take on USA from 2.30 pm .
