Cong workers strictly obey High Command: Dr Meinya

The Congress workers are committed to follow the instructions and obligations of the Party's High Command, MP of Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Dr T Meinya has said during a political conference organized by Wangkhem Youth Congress Committee at Charangpat Indoor Stadium today.
He further said that being an MP he has to station most of the time in New Delhi and he has little to interact with the people.
However, the people should appreciate and acknowledge the works taken up by the Congress Party for the welfare and development of the country.
Agriculture Minister Abdul Nasir exhorted that the youths are the pillars of the society and they are vital in the progress and development of the country.
He said that even 47-year-old Barack Obama becomes President in United States and youths in European countries are given the right to contest elections soon after they attain the age of adult suffrage.
The youths of the country are moving fast forward in all disciplines under the able leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Nasir added.
Parliamentary Secretary K Meghachandra, who was also present and spoke on the occasion, stressed on the role of youths in the socioeconomic and political development of a country.
