Will field only chosen candidates: Th Chaoba

Manipur BJP chief Th Chaoba said on Sunday that the party will field only preferred candidates for the upcoming Assembly and the ADC polls in order that they come out victory.
Chaoba was participating in a membership enrolment-cum-awareness programme at the residence of former MLA Salam Joy in Samourou.
The programe was organised by BJP Wangoi Mandal.
The State BJP president added that the saffron party is ceaselessly gaining strength throughout the country where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi headed-NDA Government at Centre has been constantly taking up various development policies for its people.
"Let's build up the strength of the State unit BJP too," he urged.
He said his party will field only chosen candidates for both the ensuing Assembly and the ADC polls.
Elections to the six Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) will be held on May 30 next.
He then attacked the Congress Government headed by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, saying the Government is not 'people-friendly' as it has ignored development and welfare policy for the people.
Chaoba said the corruption in the Congress Government is perceived to be very high.
People are suffering a lot under the Congress regime for years, he charged.
He urged the people to ponder about the current state of affairs prevailing in the State currently ruled by the Congress.
Among others, Party Manipur BJP general secretary M Ashnikumar and State BJP Mahila Morcha president RK Pramodini were also present at the event.
