Evacuation for Manipuris underway: Rk Ranjan

BJP Moirang Mandal organised a public meeting in support of Bishnupur A/C BJP candidate M Prithviraj at Kwakta public ground on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Union minister of state education and external affairs Rk Ranjan informed that evacuation process for Manipuris including students and workers stranded in Ukraine has been taken up with the help of Indian air force.
He continued that the present BJP government is for the welfare of the people and to protect territorial integrity of the state.
The party will not belie the trust of the people, he added.
While assuring that necessary steps will be taken up to set up a higher secondary school at Kwakta, he said that potable drinking water will also be ensured to the villagers.
Speaking at the event, chief minister N Biren affirmed that the ideology of BJP is to uplift the underdeveloped and minority communities and to live together as one.
People should not believe the lies being spread by Congress, he said.
Upon seeing the number of people attending the meeting, he expressed hope that BJP will surely win in Moirang constituency.
Kwakta will be adopted as his village if he became the CM again, Biren said.
BJP candidate M Prithviraj assured of fulfilling all the agreements signed with him and people of Kwatha.
All the previous promises he made have been fulfilled, he maintained.
The public meeting was attended by works minister Th Bishwajit, BJP Bishnupur District Committee president RK Bimola, BJP Moirang Mandal president Shoukat Ali and members of the party.
