"Politicians playing communal cards"

Imphal, October 24 2021:
Chief minister N Biren has called upon the people of the state to stay alert from communal politics and take a united stand against such politics.
Attending a one-day political conference organised by BJP Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Mandal at Lourembam Leikai on Sunday, Biren said that there are some politicians who are trying to disintegrate the state by getting involved in communal politics and the public need to stay alert from such divisive forces.
On the other hand, the state was filled with a dreadful atmosphere where the public do not feel safe to go outside during night amid the numerous fake encounters.
However, that time has gone after BJP came into power.
BJP government brought ILP system in the state, he mentioned.
Further stating that in politics, patriotism and nationalism are important and without them, one should not come out and contest election, he explained that politics is doing service to the public and it is through this service that the BJP government brought good governance and safe environment in the state.

The government is resolving issues in swift manner from time to time with the objective to move forward and it also needs public support to bring development, he said and appealed to the people of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency to elect the right candidate, who can and will serve the public after becoming MLA.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda spoke at length about the welfare initiatives taken up by the BJP government and underscored the need for having a sense of nationalism among the politicians in order to bring development and serve the public.
She called for public support to BJP so that the party retains power and brings about a better Manipur.
Education minister S Rajen, agriculture minister O Lukhoi, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC's BJP intending candidates S Kebi, O Malesh and RK Anand were also present during the political conference.
