Private schools to be reopened from Monday

Imphal, July 19 2015 :
All Manipur Recognised Private School Welfare Association Imphal had informed the students of private school to start attending school from 20 July onwards.
In a press meet held at the office of the association at Uripok Khaidem Leikai, Secretary L Joy said that the association showed its solidarity with the late student Sapam Robinhood.
He also said that the association will take part in the action taken up by JCILPS in the days to come.
Joy stated that the closing down of school by the government is not a welcome approach and informed that there are various tests for board exam starting second week of November and the form fill up are to be done in the first week of December.
Before the tests and form fill ups the school has to conduct their own eligibility exams.
However if the schools remain closed the syllabi will not be covered as July month is coming to an end.
Joy continued that due to prevailing law and order problem, so far only one third of the syllabi are covered and there is less time to cover up the syllabuses.
He also said that many organisations have urged to reopen educational institutes and the All Manipur Recognised Private School Welfare Association resolved to open private schools starting July 20.He further said that the implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the State is a must but it is equally important to educate the students.
He urged the private school authorities to reopen their schools starting July 20 and the students to attend classes.
