Imphal, July 19 2015 :
Locals of Lairikyengbam Leikai along with the JAC Against the Brutal Killing of Robinhood, during a public meeting held at Napalkhong Community hall today, resolved to further continue their agitation in case the State Government fails to comply with the demands placed by the JAC.
The participants of the meeting observed a two minute silence in memory and honour of late Sapam Robinhood.
A resolution to support the endeavour of the JAC demanding State Government to book and punish security personnel involved in the killing of Robinhood was passed along with a decision not to retrieve the body until the introduction of a draft bill akin to ILP in the State Assembly.
The JAC is likely to continue with its mass agitation which was launched earlier last week.
Dingku Road will also remain blocked.
Meanwhile, local meira paibis of the area tried to storm the residence of Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Th Debendra today.
Security personnel, however, rushed to the area of agitation and foiled the attempt.
The womenfolk later dispersed.
