Orgns donate cash to Robinhood's family

Imphal, July 19 2015 :
Condemning the inhuman killing of Sapam Robinhood in the agitation demanding implementation of ILP system in Manipur, International Meetei Forum has shared the grief of the bereaved family while donating Rs 10,000 .
The members of IMF led by president N Basanta reaffirmed to extend their full support to the ongoing ILP movement.
Demanding the State Govt to immediately pass a bill to protect the rights and lives of indigenous people, Heingang Kendra Meira Paibi Apunba Lup condoled the death of Sapam Robinhood and donated Rs 10,000 to his family.
Meanwhile, extending support to JCILPS and the ongoing movement, Meihourol Inat Kanba Apunba Lup blamed the Govt for imposing curfew and closing down all educational institutions.
The Lup also warned the State Government that imposing curfew, instead of passing a bill to safeguard the indigenous people of the State would not be able to suppress the mass movement.
Monetary help extended to ILPS victims .
Joint committee on Inner Line Permit System students' wing extended monetary help to three students who are presently undergoing treatment.
The committee members visited Haobijam Reson aged 18 from Khurai Konsam Leikai who is undergoing treatment at RIMS Hospital, Angom Wangthoi from Kyamgei Maning Leikai and Angali Mayanglambam from Haobam Marak Keisham Leikai who are undergoing home treatment.
Meanwhile United Club Uripok assembly constituency ward no 4 extended help to the bereaved family of Sapam Robinhood.
The club members also observed two minute silence as a mark of respect and solidarity to Sapam Robinhood.
