Intending BJP candidates asked to do their bit

A joint meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 60-Singngat Mandal was held on Thursday at Singngat community hall.
The meeting was presided over by BJP Mandal president Kamlian- thang Singngat and attended by a large number of BJP members under Singngat.
Khaipau Haokip, president BJP Churachandpur District; Abhay Kumar Giri, in-charge Manipur and Nagaland BJP, besides Singngat BJP MLA Ginsuanhau, who is also chairman of MANIREDA/MTDC addressed the gathering, which included all ex-MDC members and intending candidates within Singngat A/C, leaders of Singngat Chiefs' Association and intellectuals.
During his speech, Giri informed that at the time of election booth level committees would be set up with leaders appointed to strengthen the position of the party in the assembly constituency.
MLA GS Haupu said that all intending candidates have to do their bit and must not stay idle while exhorting all to work hard so that the party grows from strength to strength.
He also advised the intending MDC candidates to sort out differences and be sincere in their work for the party.
Later, the MLA donated two D-type oxygen cylinders and an oxygen concentrator to Singngat CHC.
