Musical Institute inaugurated in Jiribam

Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Ak Mirabai on Sunday inaugurated the Jiribam Musical Institute and Embroidery Vocational Centre at Jiribam.
Director Social Welfare, G Seityabati; ADC Jiribam, Y Iboyaima; Addl SP, O Menjor; Deputy Director, ICDS, L Shyama and Deputy Director, Social Welfare A Sishak graced
the function as dais members.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ak Mirabai expressed her happiness over inauguration of the Musical Institute and Vocational Centre,
which she said, is a result of the relentless efforts of Achievement of Rising Maiden (ARM).
The NGO which is providing various services and helps to many handicapped
persons is very important and no Minister or MLA could imitate them in their social services.
Government's responsibility is only to approve such NGOs, but it is the
NGOs which play active role in the upliftment of the handicapped persons.
ARM is in the 5th Priority Level as per the government record and it is hope that the NGO
will rise to its paramount to serve the handicapped persons.
In all 13 disabled players who won medals in various state level tournaments were felicitated as part of
the function.
Classical music and Light Music presentations were also showcased by Ranibala, who will be the Principal of the Musical Institute.
