SDCC hails, cautions

Lauding the initiative of the Chief Secretary to take the case of irregularities of FCS/PDA items and non-receipt of AAY and BPL ration card to the Vigilance Department to unearth the truth, the Senapati District Consumers' Club has said that it is keenly watching the developments and dispensation of justice by the department concerned.
The Club will not spare any efforts in bringing justice and safeguarding the rights and interests of the consumers of the district.
Appealing to all civil society organisations to extend their support in the fight against corruption and injustice, SDCC warned that it would not hesitate to take recourse to legal proceedings for the redressal of grievances of the poor and needy people.
Meanwhile the Mao Council has stated that it wil extend its fullest support to the SDCC in their endeavour to unearth the truth behind the present crisis and noted the good work it has done so far.
The Mao Council has also demanded that all defaulters should be booked and urged the authority concerned to award befitting punishment on all the culprits.
