Costume and Traditional Day held

Imphal, August 14, 2012:
In commemoration of the day when the British rulers left Manipur, the 9th Costume and Traditional Observance Day was held at Manipur Dramatic union Hall, Yaiskul Police Lane today.
While folk songs and dances of various ethnic groups were presented in connection with the observance, speakers called upon the people of Manipur to cherish valour of the Manipuri forefathers and work for peace and economic emancipation.
