Sit-in protest staged against burning of BJP flag

Imphal, September 13 2021: Election Committee of Patsoi Part 2 for Wahengbam Dineshchandra Singh, an intending candidate for the upcoming MLA election has condemned the act of burning BJP flag by some miscreants at Lamdeng Mayai Leikai on the intervening night of September 8 and 9.The burning of BJP flag which was pulled down from the pole erected at the residence of Y Meghachandra of Lamdeng Mayai Leikai and subsequent intimidation on the said day is condemnable at the strongest term and is against the Democracy, said members of the election committee who staged a sit in protest yesterday at the committee office at Patsoi Part 2 .

Those involved in burning the BJP flag should be booked at the earliest and given befitting punishment, demanded the members.
