Imphal, May 15 2015 :
BJP National secretary (Coordi-nation/NE States) Ram Madhav has accused Chief Minister O Ibobi of misappropriating huge amounts of money sanctioned by the Central Government for implementing different deve-lopment projects in the State.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhhaya Auditorium at the State BJP head office today.
Even though O Ibobi is on the verge of completing his third successive term as the Chief Minister of Manipur, no substantial development can be seen in the State.
It is because of rampant corruption and many failures of the Congress Government that the issue of insurgency could not be resolved and meaningful development still remains elusive, Ram Madhav said.
BJP's objective is to create a new India without Congress party.
Stating that BJP would not rest until Congress party is completely uprooted from all over the country, Ram Madhav claimed that BJP would score massive victory in Bihar and Assam which are going to polls shortly.
Ahead of the Manipur Legislative Assembly election of 2017, BJP would launch a house to house awareness campaign so that all the people know about the many development and welfare programmes taken up by the BJP Govt, he added.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba asserted that BJP would get at least one seat more than Congress in the ensuing ADC election.
Dismissing Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam allegation of BJP being anti-Christian, Chaoba claimed that around one lakh Christians of Manipur have enrolled in the party.
