Imphal, May 15 2015 :
Recalling that the 7th round of tripartite talk on alternative arrangement held on February 6 last year agreed to constitute a high level committee to translate the demand for alternative arran-gement into political reality, the UNC alleged that the State Govt led by O Ibobi has deliberately denied and sup-pressed Naga people's rights over land, history, identity, culture, time honoured insti-tution and political aspiration.
It then urged the Nagas not to welcome Congress party in Naga areas for their oppressive policies towards the Naga tribals.
A press release issued by the UNC further urged Nagas to stand firm and united against such oppressive policies.
