Uncontested INC candidate of Kangpokpi felicitated

Kangpokpi, May 15 2015 : Uncontested INC candidate of Kangpokpi District Council Constituency Haokholal Hangshing have been felicitated at his residence Salam Cottage at Kangpokpi on Thursday.

The felicitation function has been organized by Kangpokpi Town Committee with a love feast where the local MLA Nemcha Kipgen and the local sitting MDC Haokholien Guite attended as Special Guest respectively while Rev J Lunkim, Chairman, Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship graced the occasion as Thanksgiving Minister.

The Kangpokpi Town Committee comprising of 17 members felicitated Haokholal Hangshing with a Red traditional Thadou Kuki shawl called 'Saipikhup' to marked their acceptance of Haokholal Hangshing as the local representative in the administration of ADC Sadar Hills while making religious monetary offering as a marked of seeking blessing for the uncontested candidate in his endeavour.

Many CSOs leaders including Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, Kuki Women Union Sadar Hills, KSO Sadar Hills, TSA Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization, Kangpokpi Youth Union, etc.

took part in the felicitation function.

She continued that God is the foundation of all and we should not depend on human power and wisdom while adding that we should valued the free of cost love given to us by God and share among us.

Misuse of development fund is one of the greatest sin on earth opined Nemcha Kipgen who also said that such practice should be eschewed in the society.

The local MLA appeal the general public to interpret bad thing to good and avoid worsening the worse rather repay it with goodwill so as to construct good environment for peace.

"My candidature being uncontested is the symbol of peace and truly signify changes not only in the Kangpokpi District Council constituency but Sadar Hills as a whole", asserted Haokholal Hangshing before adding that political, social and developmental change has come in Sadar Hills.

Security from basic amenities to higher level is essential for the people of Sadar Hills which they should be aware of it further added the INC Candidate.

He conveyed his gratitude to Kangpokpi Town Committee in particular and the people of Kangpokpi DCC while urging to sustain their support and cooperation in future too.

Rev J Lunkim, Chairman, Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship pronounced the Thanksgiving ceremony and the program ended sine die with a feast.
