No new case, no recovery reported

Imphal, May 10 2022:
The state remained free from fresh Covid-19 infection on Tuesday after all the 145 samples examined in the last 24 hours returned negative.
There is also no fatality in the same period and the toll remains at 2120 .
Till date, the virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated persons of which 61 had received the second dose.
With no patient discharged in the last 24 hours the number of active cases retnains at seven out of which 2 (28.57 per cent) are in home isolation.
So far, the state has recorded 11,439 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The current month has reported 7 new cases and zero fatality while the weekly number of new cases and new fatalities are 5 and 0 respectively.
The cumulative number of positive cases has reached 1,37,227 (general population - 1,32,213 and CAPF personnel - 5,014).Number of recovered cases is 1,35,100 (general population - 1,30,093 and CAPF personnel - 5,007) and num ber of active cases is 7 (general population) .
The recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
A total of 98 D-type and 10 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 3348 vaccine doses administered on Monday taking the cumulative number of vaccinated persons to 15,60,905, including 12,10,820 who have been inoculated twice and 88,649 received the precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (48748), Imphal East (30446), Thoubal (10161), Churachandpur (11054), Kangpokpi (3135), Tamenglong (3478), Bishnupur (9842), Senapati (2493), Ukhrul (3277), Kakching (6896), Chandel (2726), Noney (1158), Tengnoupal (1201), Jiribam (1111), Kamjong (1036) and Pherzawl (465) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (704), Imphal East (511), Thoubal (189), Churachandpur (168), Kangpokpi (67), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (205), Senapati (12), Ukhrul (51), Kakching (122), Chandel (42), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (15), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,224 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,680 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,19,129 tests per million population against the national average of 5,98,905 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent and cumulative positivity rate 8.52 per cent.
