Nishikant extends helping hand

Imphal, August 31 2020:
The Sangai Express proprietor, Nishikant Singh Sapam has provided daily essential items to 19 families residing within containment zone of Thouda Bhabok Leikai.
Chaokhat Thourang Kanglup, Thouda Bhabok Leikai assisted in delivering the essential items which included drinking water, flour, onion, edible oil, potatoes, papad, pulses and salt etc to the households.

As the area was declared as a containment zone after detection of COVID-19 cases, there is restriction on people's movement.
The essential items were provided to the households to ensure they have enough to cope with any shortage of food, said Nishikant adding he will be providing further assistance to the people in the containment area.
Nishikant also appealed to people to maintain physical distance and wear face masks when venturing outside their houses to avoid virus spread and flatten the infection curve.
Chaokhat Thourang Kanglup and locals of Thouda Bhabok Leikai appreciated Nishikant for his assistance and humanitarian work.
