One of the five persons, who were injured in police firing at Churachandpur yesterday in the mob protest demanding strong action against the IRB personnel involved in filming and uploading sex video clips of a couple on the internet, is in a state of coma at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Shija Hospital and Research Institute, Langol here.
The injured person has been identified as Lunminsiam Guite (20) of Lamka Zenhang.
He was hit by a bullet on his chest.
He is still in a critical condition, hospital authorities said.
Four other protestors namely Robert Lallchungnung Kipgen (21) and Lalramthar alias Thara (35), Thangnunmuang (26) and Obed Thangtansang (25) also sustained bullet injuries in the same police firing and they are currently undergoing treatment at Churachandpur District Hospital.
Their conditions are said to be stable and out of danger.

According to reports culled from Churachandpur, about 23 persons were injured in the ensuing melee.
Most of them were given first aid at the District Hospital and discharged thereafter as they did not sustain bullet injuries.
Chairman of Churachandpur ADC Langkhanpau Guite, MDC Khaikhanmung and Pastor V Chinpau visited the injured persons at the hospital.
Narrating the details of the yesterday's mob protest, a person from Churachandpur told Hueiyen Lanpao that the IRB personnel posted at Khuga Dam humiliated and filmed the couple in nude, who were caught red-handed while having sex inside the restricted area of Khuga Dam, instead of handing over them to police.
The incident reported took place on June 23 last.
The IRB personnel forcibly filmed the private parts of the woman even if she tried to cover up with her clothes.
They even inserted a stick into her private parts and tortured her with a beastly attitude beyond all human senses, the person added.
Meanwhile, the personnel of 1st IRB involved in the scandal namely Havildar Nengsuanmung of New Lamka, Havildar T Sonlian Tungdim of Mata, Havildar Thiyam Chaoba of Thoubal and rifleman Ningthoujam Lokendro of Senjam Chirang Mayai Leikai have been placed under suspension.
