Poll Star and E-Atlas Training at Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, April 05 2019:
In connection with the ensuing Lok Sabha Elections, training for polling personnel including women for use of Poll Star and e-Atlas mobile app was held at DC Office Complex, Kangpokpi District.
The training was conducted by SDO Chunglienmang, SDO S Imoshana, SDC HQ Jotin Sapam, SDC Julia Khuraijam, SDC Ngangbam Romia and Nodal Officer ICT Muan Tombing.
The trainees were asked to download the applications and were allowed to use them as they will be using on the poll day.
They were also asked to explain about the details for the use of the app by forming groups.

SDO Chunglienmang stated that the poll parties will be getting IVR calls at different timings provided at the manual and should respond to it without fail and in case if they miss any call, they should immediately call back as it is monitored by the CEO directly.
SDC Julia also instructed the trainees that the applications should be login by using their respective user id and password and should compulsorily click the close poll button before logging out.
Poll Star is an innovative and versatile platform for quick and error-free collection of polling statistics from presiding officers in polling booths and for visual presentation of the acquired data for online monitoring and analysis while eAtlas will give instant updates about the polling station every hour.
Besides, second round of training for polling personnel of three ACs- Saitu, Saikul and Kangpokpi also continued in three different halls of the DC Office complex by their concerned AROs and master trainers.
EVM/VVPAT commissioning of three assembly constituencies of Kangpokpi district also completed on Thursday and the Strong room was sealed successfully in presence of DEO, Dy.DEO, AROs, Election Officer, micro observers, political parties, DNOs and security.
