Yamthong to be back

Saikul MLA Yamthong Haokip, who is presently undergoing treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi, will be brought back to Imphal on March 7 .
According to a reliable source, MLA Yamthong Haokip, who is in judicial custody in connection with the missing arms case from 2nd Manipur Rifle Arms Kote, was taken to New Delhi by an air ambulance for treatment at the Cardio- Thoracic Centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on March 11 this year.
The sources continued that the MLA will be brought back to Imphal on March 7 and he will be further lodged in judicial custody under medical treatment at JNIMS Security ward.
On the other hand, another co accused of the case was arrested by the investigating agency, NIA, on March 12 .
The arrested individual, identified as H Talung Pungphinamai (32) s/o Hingba Pungphinamai of Maram Kavanam, Senapati district, was arrested after his name was disclosed by other co accused of the case revealing that Talung Pungphinamai had received some of the arms which went missing from 2nd Manipur Rifle arms Kote.
H Talung Pungphinamai was taken into police custody for six days before he was remanded to judicial custody from March 18 in connection with the case.
