Orientation programme on CCE for teachers held

A One Day Orientation programme on Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for school teachers of Imphal East and Imphal West was held at GM Hall today.
The orientation programme which was jointly organized by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur and All Manipur recognized Private Schools Welfare Association was attended by S Gita, Chairperson, Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur and N Tomba, Chief advisor, All Manipur recognized Private Schools Welfare Association as presidium
members.
L Kamakhyakumar, Rtd lecturer, Imphal college spoke on the topic CCE - General Discussion and Scholastic area, Dr L Ramananda, former reader, DM College of Commerce spoke on the topic CCE- scholastic area/ Activities and A sukumar on the topic CCE- Implementation strategy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr H Naba, Secretary, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur said that CCE is an act to improve the intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social aspects of the students.
It also acts as a device to measure the improvements in the performance of the students.
The scheme was not practiced among the teachers of class XI and XII but is now being implemented.
Around 600 teachers from Imphal East and West participated in the orientation programme.
