Teaching and non-teaching staff and executive members of Ananda Purna School, Thoubal congratulated two of their students and their guides on getting selected to participate in 42nd Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for children slated to be held at Nirmala College campus, Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam, Kerala in December 2015 .
According to a statement, two students of the school - Laishram Sonaly Chanu and Thongam Avinash Singh took part in the Eastern India Science Fair.
The two students are among the four students from the State selected by the NCERT, Delhi to participate in the 42nd Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for children.
L Sonaly Chanu presented a model titled Innovative Fodder Cutter in community health and environment under the guidance of Takhellambam Robindro Singh while Th Avinash presented a model titled 'Onthokpa Loo- fish trap' under the guidance of Sapam Swaminath Singh in the Eastern India Science Fair, it said.
