CM inspects IIT Takyel

With the new session for IIT Takyel commencing next month, Chief Minister O Ibobi today visited the institution and inspected the construction works going on there.
Currently three classrooms and hostels for boys and girls are under construction.
Though the IIT is commencing its session next month, the construction work is far from complete.
The hostels are triple-storeyed buildings.
While the ground floor and the first floor have been partially completed, construction work of the third is yet to be initiated.
Both the hostels have accommodation capacity of 75 students, at the rate of 25 to 30 students on each floor.
Works Minister K Ranjit, Education Minister DD Thaisii, PWD Chief Engineer and other high ranking officials were part of the Chief Minister's inspection team.
