Imphal, July 16 2011:
With an aim to prevent outbreak of flood-related diseases, a free medical camp was organised by Uripok Kendra Youth Forum at the Lamboi Khongnangkhong premises of United Friends Library and Club today.
Medical personnel at the camp attended to about 500 people, including children and women, from Lamboi Khongnangkhong and Shamushang areas.
It may be noted that these residential pockets were inundated for days due to incessant rainfall recently.
In all four doctors, two nurse and three pharmacists catered to the medical requirements of the local populace.
