Free Mega Health Camp conducted

Maring Medicos Union (MMU) organized a one-day Mega Free Health Camp today at Khukarthil Village Community Hall near Pallel.
In the camp, twenty-four doctors of Maring community along with other medical staff conducted medical examination to around 2000 people relating to Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dental, ENT etc while Lab test facilities and free medicines were also provided during the camp.
With regard to conduct of Mega Free Health Camp, State Nodal Officer AYUSH, NHM Manipur and Advisor of Maring Medicos Union Dr K Benedict Maring stated mat the health camp was conducted by Maring Medicos Union (MMU) in view of the hardship face by the villagers including Maring residing in interior part of hill area in getting medical treatment and added that such camp will be conducted in far flung area including Rilram Centre.
MMU appreciated the help extended by Director National Health Mission Manipur, Nongmaithem Bandana, Director Health Services Manipur Dr K Rajo, Director AYUSH Dr A Guneshwar, Kangla Diagnostic Centre, Aristo Pharmaceutical Limited, Public Hospital, Imphal and other organization in the form of medicines, Wheel Chair, Biotech Health Care to make the camp successful.
Meanwhile, the Maring Students' Union (MSU) extended their heartiest grateful to Maring Medicos Union (MMU) for organizing "One-day Free Medical Camp" at Khukarthil Village Community Hall, Chandel district today.
MSU also praised the Maring Doctors who have rendered their services for the welfare of the Maring people while adding that the camp was one of the most precious opportunities to the poor people who could not bear medical expenses.
Under the sponsorship of District Health Society Tengnoupal, Government of Manipur, All Community Development Organization Moreh (ACODOM) organized a Mega Free Medical Camp at Shita Village today, a place situated in the interior part of Tengnoupal District.
Five doctors conducted medical examination to around 360 villagers during the camp while free medicines were also distributed to the villagers.
Meanwhile, in connection with the medical camp, various domesticated animals were also vaccinated by the Veterinary Doctors.
General Secretary ACODOM RK Lokendro stated that the medical camp was conducted at Shita village as a part of Annual Free Medical Camp to render free medical services to the villagers residing in far off places and villages where medical facilities are absent.
He continued that the main objective of conducting such medical camp is to prevent villagers from many seasonal and other critical diseases.
