ANSAM's 2nd legislative assembly conducted at Phyapou village

Senapati, September 26 2021:
The 2nd Legislative Assembly of All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) for the tenure 2020-22 was held on Saturday at Phyapou village, Tahamzam.
The assembly was reported to be hosted by the Poumai Naga Student Students Union (PNTM) .
It was participated by senior leaders of the association and members of 18 constituent units and subordinates bodies.
ANSAM president unveiled the monolith of the 2nd Federal Assembly and hoisted the Association flag before proceeding to the Assembly hall.
The Assembly began with the invocation led by Fr Roy MD, Principal SFS School followed by self introduction of the esteemed members in the August House.

A one minute of silent prayer was also observed in honour of the departed leaders including Lt Th Abraham Ngade, former president PNTM and Lt Athuan Abonmai, former president, Zeliangrong Baudi.
Later, on formation of quorum, Newman Polah, Speaker, Legislative Assembly tabled the agenda on the floor of the August House and called for the discussion and business hour that subsequently adopted the resolution on various issues including review of the 1st Legislative Assembly proceedings, current pressing issues pertaining to tribal in the State of Manipur, Indo Naga peace process and other social & political issues.
The Speaker acknowledged and appreciated all the members of the house for their participation in the 2nd Legislative Assembly along with the host team, Phyapou Village Authority and village youths.
