AMMDC organises "6th Chingmi Tammi Iftar"

All Manipur Muslim Development Committee (AMMDC) on Friday organised organsied the annual "6th Chingmi Tammi Iftar-gi Thouram" at New Life New Way campus in Lilong Kaleikhong.
It was participated by AMMDC legal advisor, Md Riyauddin Khan; AMMDC president, Pusham Sayeed Ahamad; JCILPS co-convenor, Warepam Second; AMMOCOC president, SM Jalal; CADA Manipur president, Hijam Priyokumar; UMMWDO president, Anwari Noorjahan; AMUCO general secretary, Dr Noren Thokchom; UCM general secretary, Ng Deva Meitei; Kuki Inpi president, Mangcha Haokip and villagers of Chingkham Kabui Khul.
Speaking on the occasion, Pusham Sayeed Ahamad stated that different communities in the state have been residing in harmony and peace for ages.

"The harmony and peace between the communities have been threatened in many instances over the years due to external influences", said Sayeed Ahamad while adding that the attempts to disrupt the peace have been unsuccessful so far due to the grace of God.
He claimed that AMMDC and many CSOs have been standing firm to its commitment to protect the diverse communities of the state from various external influences employing "divide and rule" .
Sayeed Ahamad further reiterated AMMDC stand to oppose the call of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to make Hindi a compulsory subject for all students upto Class X in all the North Eastern States.
