KSA observes 16th foundation day

The 16th foundation day for Kangleipak Students Association (KSA) was observed at Maharaja Chandrakriti Auditorium Hall today.
Speaking on the occasion, president of KSA, Sukham Bidyananda said that the student body will continue to work for the welfare of the student community and the society as a whole.
He further informed that under the academic campaign which will be aimed to strive for an equal society, KSA will be taking up additional initiatives.
Emphasis will be given to resolve the problems faced by the students of today, he added.
He also stressed on the need to include a special syllabus in the State's education system about the contributions and sacrifices of the valiant leaders of the State to instill a sense of oneness among the young students.
The observation programme was graced by National and International awardee H Ibotombi Khuman, former presidents of KSA, Thongam Ajitkanta, Yumnam Pradipkumar, Moirangthem Laxman and Ningthoujam Chetan as the presidium members.
Members of CSOs which are associated with KSA were also present on the occasion and simple gifts were presented to them to acknowledge their contributions.
Also the blood donors of the blood donation camp held in connection with the foundation day of KSA were also honoured today.
