KSC emerge champions of Sadar Hills Super Div League

After securing 12 points from three wins in their four matches, Kuki Sporting Club (KSC) emerged as the champions of the 8th K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League.
KSC had defeated Kangpokpi Youth Union, FC Zalen and Saikotjang Youth Club to earn nine points while losing a match to Football For Change.
However, after an action was initiated against Football For Change, for breaching the rules, KSC were awarded another three points from their match against Football For Change, earning them a total of 12 points.
Meanwhile, Football Club Zalen who had secured six points from two wins were also awarded another three points for the match they had played with Football For Change which gave them a total of nine points to become the runners-up in the league.
According to the organising committee, Sadar Hills District Sports Association (SHDSA), Kangpokpi Mani-pur, a complaint was made against Reuben Letkhotinchon of Football For Change, Lenminlun Doungel and Solomon Hmangte of KSC.
It stated that the executive members of SHDSA thoroughly examined the subject matters of the complaints in detail while giving focus on the existing rules/procedures of transfer/registration of players as per guidelines given by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA).
It continued that after a thorough examination of the documents of the players concerned and after due verification from AMFA, Imphal, and intimation given by AMFA, the executive meeting has adopted resolutions to forfeit the result of the three matches of Football For Change as their player Reuben Letkhotinchon has not completed transfer and registration procedures even though a No Objection Certificate issued by Odisha FC which is one of the eligibility criteria for participating in the league was produced after the match on November 25.In its official memorandum signed by the president of Sadar Hills District Sports Association, Chongpu Kipgen, it was stated that after forfeiting the results of the three matches of Football For Change, KSC are declared winners and FC Zalen runners-up of the 8th K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League 2021.It was also further stated that KSC and FC Zalen will play the closing friendly match on November 29 and the prize distribution ceremony will also be held on the day.
Football For Change were the only unbeaten team in the league with three wins and one draw.
