Certificate distribution ceremony held for Scheduled Tribe paramedical trainees

Tribal Affairs & Hills Minister, Vungzagin Valte has graced the certificate distribution ceremony held for the Scheduled Tribe Paramedical trainees who successfully completed different paramedical courses from Escent Institute of Paramedical Sciences & Skill Development, Imphal at Conference Hall, Tribal Affairs & Hills Department today.
The trainees were sponsored by Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Manipur for the courses on Bachelors of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT), Bachelor of Science in Radio-Imaging Technology (BSc RIT) and diploma courses.
Speaking on the occasion as the Chief Guest, Vungzagin Valte said that Manipur is marching ahead in the field of medical sciences and its allied activities through the numerous initiatives taken up by the Government to boost the health sector of the State.
"Training of the tribals will help in providing health services to the far flung tribal areas" he added.
Urging the trainees to march ahead and serve the people in need, the Minister also encouraged them to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired through this training to uplift humanity wherever they are.
Expressing his appreciation for imparting quality education and training to the students, the Minister said Escent Institute of Paramedical Sciences and Skill Development is a valuable asset for the people of Manipur.
The Minister also released a Souvenir published by the institute under the sponsorship of Tribal Affairs & Hills.
It may be noted that Letkhogin Haokip, Addl Chief Secretary/TAH, C Arthur Worchuiyo, Director/ TAH, Kengoo Zuringla, Addl Secretary TAH, DK Thangboi, Addl Secretary, TAH, Kamala Devi, Deputy Secretary, TAH and Dr A Ransing, Under Secretary, TAH graced the event as presidium members.
