Imphal, March 27 2025: YWC Langthabal and CYCLONE Thangmeiband secured wins in today's league matches of the 2nd Khomdram (O) Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2025 at Langthabal Public Ground, Imphal West.

In the first match of the day, YWC Langthabal beat LCC Lamsang by 6 wickets.

LCC won the toss and elected to bat first to score 116 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Nandakumar (28 runs off 32 balls), N Tikendrajit (5 runs off 6 balls), Samananda (14 runs off 23 balls), Laishram Morning (11 runs off 13 balls), Sandham Suresh (1 run off 3 balls), Ahanthem Romendro (9 runs off 25 balls), Yanglem Michael (21 runs off 21 balls), Laishram Herojit (16 runs off 12 balls) and Rajmani Sairem (1 run off 2 balls) contributed runs to LCC's 116 runs in 20 overs.

YWC's Tejkumar took 3 wickets.

Priyokumar, Prakashmani, L Sashi and L Samananda dismissed one wicket each.

In YWC's winning knock of 120 in 12.5 overs, Mutum Ashokumar scored 32 runs off 18 balls.

Laishram Sashi (26 runs off 19 balls), Laishram Manaobi (19 runs off 14 balls), P Prakashmani (13 runs off 9 balls), Tejkumar (11 runs off 9 balls) and laishram Dinachandra (11 runs off 8 balls) contributed runs.

LCC's H Brojen, S Nandakumar and A Romendro dismissed one wicket each.

In the second league match of the day, YUCC Kwakeithel batted first, scoring only 88 runs for all wickets in 18.1 overs.

Only Risk (16 runs off 11 balls), T Manikumar (12 runs off 21 balls) and Md Noushad Ali (11 runs off 13 balls) took 2-digit runs.

CYCLONE's Lamnganba took 4 wickets.

Sutjachandra and Tarun took 2 wickets each.

Narjit and Dhanendrajit took one wicket each.

In CYCLONE's easy knock of 89 runs to win the match, Usham Robinson (34 runs off 25 balls), Lamnganba (30 runs off 17 balls) and Shashikumar (17 runs off 12 balls) contributed runs.

YUCC's Tomba M and Nishi Chongtham took one wicket each.
