FC Imphal, MPSC, YWC win in women's Futsal

Imphal, March 24 2025: FC Imphal, Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) and Youth Welfare Club (YWC) registered big wins against their respective opponents in league matches of the 1st Women's Futsal Inter Club Championship 2025-26 held at Artificial Turf Ground, KIYC on Monday.

FC Imphal drubbed Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) 12-4, courtesy of hat-tricks by captain Thingujam Bhumi-ka (3rd, 11th 17th minutes), Khumukcham Bhumika Devi (20th, 26th & 27th) and Thongam Reshma Devi (28th, 28th & 31st) as Amom Nanao Devi (35th & 38th) added two and Bijeya Laishram (1st) contributed one.

The goals for the losing side were netted by captain Moirangthem Mandakini Devi (15th & 38th), Anjali Gurumayum (16 th) and Thoidingjam Babyrani Devi (28th) .

Meanwhile, MPSC routed Khuman FA 22-2, with Salam Rinaroy Devi (10th, 13th, 16th, 34th & 38th), Rebika Oinam (4th, 5th, 26th & 27th), Thokchom Devajani Devi (1st, 33rd & 35th), Kshetrimayum Naocha Devi (7th, 30th & 31st), Leihaorungbam Sanathoi Devi (18th, 21st & 38th), Salam Promodini Chanu (2nd, 6th & 39th) and Leimapokpam Babydolly Devi (22nd) scoring the winners' goals.

The two Khuman FA goals were netted by Mayangmayum Farjina (16th & 37th) .

On the other hand, Laikangbam Russia Chanu's goals in the 1st, 21st & 22nd minute helped YWC beat Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) 7-5 .

YWC's other goals were scored by Laitonjam Linthoi Chanu 511th), Wairokpam Monika Devi 23rd) and Yambem Monalisha 25th) along with an own goal by YWC-L captain Thokchom Priyadashini Devi.

Yumnam Laxmi Devi (3rd & 40th), Chingangbam Binomala Chanu (8th & 29th) and Yumnam Anjali Devi (9th) reduced the loss margin for YWC-L .
