AKSDO, Al-Ameen, CRAU and PTRC emerge victorious; Sanatomba, Jodash knock centuries for CRAU to crush YPHUC

AKSDO Khangabok, Al-Ameen Lilong, CRAU Khamnam Bazar and PTRC Patsoi Part-IV emerged victorious in today's league matches of the 2nd MNCA Men's U-23 Haobam Biramangol Singh Memorial Trophy 2024-25 .

AKSDO Khangabok beat TCMDC Thongju-II Pechu Lampak by 9 runs.

Al-Ameen Lilong beat SHADOW Thangmeiband by 216 runs.

CRAU Khamnam Bazar beat YPHUC Lalambung Makhong by 307 runs.

PTRC Patsoi Part-IV beat SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai by 5 wickets.

AKSDO vs TCMDC

At Lairenjam Public Ground, AKSDO won the toss and opted to bat first to amass a total of 138 runs for 10 wickets in 39.2 overs.

TCMDC failed to reach the target and scored 129 runs for 10 wickets in 32.3 overs.

In AKSDO's score of 138 runs, Laishram Samson Meetei knocked 44 runs off 41 balls including 7 fours.

Akash Laishram scored 24 runs from 23 balls including 3 fours and 1 six.

Winchelly Laishram knocked 22 runs off 46 balls.

Chingamba Elangbam (5 runs off 16 balls), Saikhom Lanchenba Meitei (9 runs off 13 balls including 1 four), Borish Khundrakpam (5 runs off 30 balls), Sanayai Ningthoujam (3 runs off 8 balls), Rohit Laishram (4 runs off 35 balls) and Kh Korounganba (3 runs off 18 balls) contributed runs to AKSDO's 139 runs in 39.2 overs.

TCMDC's Birjeet Laishram took 3 wickets.

Rain Urikhimbam and Kongbrailatpam Kalyan Sharma took 2 wickets each.

N Arbin Singh and Vishonath Laishram took one wicket each.

In TCMDC's failed chase for the target, Laishram Vivekananda Singh knocked 5 fours and 2 sixes, and scored 39 runs off 23 balls.

Kongbrailatpam Kalyan Sharma scored 23 runs from 22 balls including 4 fours.

Rain Urikhimbam scored 34 runs from 53 balls including 3 fours.

Waikhom Mathoi Meitei (1 run off 6 balls), Vishonath Laishram (5 runs off 19 balls), Niraj Sarangthem (2 runs off 19 balls), N Arbin Singh (3 runs off 7 balls), Sanasam Himan Singh (3 runs off 23 balls), Laishram Valindra Singh (1 run off 13 balls) and Birjeet Laishram (2 runs off 9 balls) failed to make any remarkable contributions.

AKSDO's Saikhom Kaiku Meetei took 3 wickets.

Al-Ameen vs SHADOW

At Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Md Sagir Ahamed knocked a splendid 52 runs as Al-Ameen scored 290 runs for 10 wickets in 40 overs.

Md Sagir Ahamed knocked 4 fours and 4 sixes to score 52 runs off 32 balls.

His team-mate, FM Sakil Ahamed scored 41 runs from 48 balls including 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Imanur scored 37 runs from 31 balls including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Khulakpam Hanif scored 34 runs from 24 balls including 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Md Farooque (24 runs off 36 balls), Md Sharoz Khan (12 runs off 9 balls), Mahboob (4 runs off 3 balls), Boboicha Singh Thokchom (5 runs off 8 balls), Md Raeesh Khan (19 runs off 19 balls), Sohel Akter (1 run off 2 balls) and Md Karim (28 runs off 34 balls) contributed runs to Al-Ameen's 290 runs in 40 overs.

SHADOW's Sagatpam emerged an exceptional wicket taker, dismissing 4 Al-Ameen wickets.

Chinglemba Haobam and Yendrembam Bharatngamba Meitei took 2 wickets each, and Laishram Bidyasagar took one wicket.

SHADOW's chase for the target shattered early with Kh Devis's (0 runs from 10 balls) ouster, followed by Sagatpam Telheiba (13 runs off 16 balls).

Despite efforts, remaining batsmen, Sagatpam Lanchenba (7 runs off 7 balls), Arubam Goshan Singh (1 run off 8 balls), Thoudam Lanchenba (2 runs off 8 balls), Yendrembam Bharatngamba Meitei (12 runs off 39 balls), Laishram Bidyasagar Meitei (0 runs off 5 balls), Khunjamayum Dennis (7 runs off 10 balls), Chinglemba Haobam (17 runs off 29 balls) and Aribam Ganaraj Sharma (0 runs in 10 balls) succumbed one after another.

Al-Ameen's Shohel Akter took 5 wickets.

Md Karim and FM Sakil Ahamed took 2 wickets each, and Md Sagir Ahamed took one wicket.

CRAU vs YPHUC

YPHUC won the toss, but opted to field first, paving way for CRAU to consolidate a massive 387 runs for 7 wickets in 40 overs.

Sanatomba K (156 runs off 120 balls) and Ph Jodash (106 runs off 46 balls) displayed excellent batting skills as the pair amassed a total of 262 runs off 166 balls.

Sanatomba's massive 256 runs included 18 fours and 3 sixes.

Ph Jodash knocked 15 fours and 4 sixes to reach 106 runs.

Khumanthem Prakash Singh too displayed skills as he knocked 4 fours and 4 sixes to score 60 runs off 43 balls.

Dennis Khagembam (3 runs off 16 balls) and Thongam Joychandra (13 runs off 6 balls) too contributed runs to CRAU's 387 runs in 40 overs.

Heishnam Joyhenba Meitei scored zero off 11 balls.

YPHUC's Irom Ishor, Irom Sunny Singh, Maisnam Naseer Singh and Konsam Mangal Singh took one wicket each.

Facing an impressive CRAU on the pitch, YPHUC's batsmen fell quickly, scoring only 80 runs for 10 wickets in 25.3 overs.

Irom Sunny Singh (33 runs off 17 balls) scored the most for YPHUC.

Irom Ishor, Gurumayum Prince, Maisnam Naseer Singh and Arbind Naoroibam scored zero runs.

All the other batsmen, Konsam Mangal Singh (14 runs off 52 balls), Bishworaj Sharma (1 run off 12 balls), Birbal Irom (2 runs off 7 balls), Jangammei Maringmei (5 runs off 29 balls), Suresh Angom (13 runs off 17 balls) and Loitongbam Joychandra Singh (1 run off 5 balls) failed to make meaningful contributions.

CRAU's Bm Sabakhan took 5 wickets.

Naorem Kamajit dismissed 2 wickets.

Heisnam Joyhenba and Thongam Joychandra took one wicket each.

SCCC vs PTRC

At Moijing Public ground, Thoubal, SCCC won the toss and opted to bat first to score 129 runs for 10 wickets in 26.5 overs.

PTRC knocked 132 for 5 wickets in 29.4 overs to win the match by 5 wickets.

For SCCC to reach 129 runs, Ulenyai Khwairakpam knocked 75 runs off 55 balls including 12 fours and 2 sixes.

Konthoujam Tomthinganba Singh (2 runs off 21 balls), Jimy Oinam (13 runs off 21 balls), Basant (7 runs off 21 balls), Rahul Hanglem (8 runs off 16 balls), Lishan Meitei Khaidem (7 runs off 5 balls), Khaidem Joyraj Meitei (6 runs off 7 balls) and Syed Hanif (4 runs off 5 balls) contributed runs.

PTRC's Jotin Singh Pheiroijam took 4 wickets.

Tamarland Pheiroijam took 3 wickets.

Henba Paonam, Laitonjam Jackson Singh and Bush Sagolsem dismissed one wicket each.

In PTRC's winning knock of 132 runs in 29.4 overs, Salam Richie (19 runs off 32 balls), Priyojit Thongam (17 runs off 32 balls), Ngambarel Naoshekpam (25 runs off 35 balls), Laitonjam James Singh (7 runs off 24 balls), Tamarland Pheiroijam (19 runs off 25 balls) and Laitonjam Jackson Singh (29 runs off 27 balls) contributed runs.

SCCC's Lishan Meitei Khaidem took 2 wickets.
