Imphal, March 24 2025: Football Club Imphal (FCI), Mayai Koibi notched up a commanding 12-4 win over Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Palace Compound as the 1st Loitongbam Sharat Singh Memorial Women's Inter Club Futsal Championship 2025-26 kicked off today at KIYC Artificial Turf Ground.

Thingujam Bhumika (3', 11', 17'), Khumukcham Bhumika (20', 26', 27') and Thongam Reshma (28', 28', 31') added three goals apiece for the winners after Laishram Bijeya opened the scoring in the first minute.

Amom Nanao then rounded off the scoring by netting two goals back to back in the 35th and the 38th minutes.

Moirangthem Mandakini (15, 38'), Gurumayum Anjali and Thoidingjam Babyrani (28') were on target for ESU in this match.

Later in the second match, Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) came out all guns blazing to crush Khuman FA, Laipham Khunou by 22-2 goals.

Salam Rinaroy led the scoring for MPSC adding five goals alone (10', 13', 16', 34', 38') as Oinam Rebika added four (4', 5', 26', 27') and Thokchom Devajani (1', 33', 35'), Leihaorungbam Sanathoi (18', 21', 38'), Kshetrimayum Naocha (7', 30', 31') and Salam Pramodini (2', 6', 39') scored three goals apiece.

Leimapokpam Babydolli also scored a goal for MPSC in the 22nd minute.

Both the goals for Khuman FA were scored by Mayangmayum Farjina in the 16th and 37th minutes.

Later in the third match, Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) beat Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) by 7-5 goals.

Leikangbam Russia scored thrice (1', 21', 22') while Laitonjam Linthoi (11'), Wairokpam Monika (23'), Yambem Monalisha (25') added a goal apiece to hand YWC-Th the victory.

The other goal came up in the 24th minute with Thokchom Priyadashini of YWC-L conceding an own goal.

For YWC-L, Yumnam Laxmi (3', 40') and Chingangbam Binomala (8', 29') scored two goals apiece as Yumnam Anjali netted one (9') .

As many as 7 players are participating in the tournament.
