UCC crush IYA as SRDC, WALYDA split points in Kakching League

Imphal, July 18 2024: UCC inflicted a 5-0 thrashing on IYA while SRDC and WALYDA shared the spoils in the Kakching Second Division Football League 2024 on Thursday.

Ksh Ronaldo scored twice in UCC's emphatic victory over IYA.

M Suraj struck in the opener in the 27th minute while Ronaldo extended the lead in the 34th minute.

After the interval, Ronaldo scored his second goal in the 52nd minute to further stretch their advantage.

Then Kh Dinesh found their fourth in the 73rd minute before N Vero netted their fifth in the third minute of stoppage time to wrap up the win.

Meanwhile, SRDC and WALYDA played out a 1-1 draw.

N Dolton put SRDC in front in the 47th minute but M Bishal made it all square for WALYDA in the 61st minute.

In the remaining minutes of battle, neither side were able to gain the upper hand, and both teams had to settle for a point.
